Our 37th Rocks!

SedonaRocks

Rocks from Sedona, AZ.

We’re still receiving rocks! Our friend Lisa S brought us some really awesome specimens from Sedona on August 24, 2012.

These rocks are a wonderful addition to the collection. First of all, they smell like the desert—just like the smell that was in the air when I was visiting Austin, Texas. They also have the unique quality of coming from a place long held as a center of energy vortexes.

I know Lisa through work. She picked up these rocks on a visit to Sedona about four years ago (2008). She got them at the Red Rock Crossing/Cathedral Rock Vortex, the energy at which “strengthens the things you normally think of as feminine, such as kindness, compassion, patience, and the ability to let others need you and depend on you. And it strengthens the ability to anticipate the impact of your actions before you act, which is what considerateness is all about.”[1]
